Late subjective audiometric verifications of the early auditory brainstem responses results in young hard-of-hearing children before their speech development

Abstract

The authors described the late subjective audiometric verifications of the auditory brainstem responses (ABR) results in a group of hard-of-hearing children treated in Phoniatric Department of Children Hospital Dziekanów Leśny. The audiometric examinations took place after some time of the speech and hearing rehabilitation. The rehabilitation effects make the audiometric examinations feasible. The correlation between these two type of examinations was good.
