Abstract
Significant growth and innovation in interventional procedures involving the gastrointestinal tract has occurred over the last 15 years. The authors discuss historical background, procedural planning, sedation, and monitoring during the procedure, technique, postprocedural care, and potential procedural complications in the pediatric population.
