Abstract
In a 59-year old man with IIIb non-small-cell lung cancer, a combined treatment with paclitaxel and carboplatin was used for potentiation of radiotherapy. The patient was alive and free of neoplastic disease 14 months after the end of treatment but irreversible lung fibrosis had developed.
