Managing the development of dialysis nursing: ten years experience

EDTNA ERCA J. 1997 Apr-Jun;23(2):21-4.

Abstract

Different authors have stressed the need for specialised knowledge to serve the needs of the renal patient. This is due especially to the great advances in renal function substitution techniques which require training and technical, scientific and specific expertise on the part of the nursing staff who perform their work in renal units (1,2,3).
