Dr. Pınar Deniz received her PhD in Economics from Marmara University in 2014. Since 2015, she has been a short-term visiting scholar at the University of Guelph, Canada, for 1 month per year. Some of her articles have been published in journals such as Economics Letters, Regional Studies and Empirical Economics. Her area of expertise is applied macroeconomics. She is the editor of the Journal of Research in Economics.
