Kamal Jain (Member, IEEE) received the B.E. (hons.) degree from BITS Pliani, Pilani, Rajasthan, in
1982, the M.E. degree from the University of Roorkee, Roorkee, India, in 1984, and the Ph.D. degree from IIT Roorkee, Roorkee, India, in 2002. He is currently a Professor with the Geomatics Engineering Group, Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. He is currently working on the various techniques like Urban 3-D reconstruction, SAR Interferometry-based DEM assessment, UAV-based remote sensing. His areas of Interest is Photogrammetry, SAR remote sensing, Tomography, Urban Reconstruction modeling, Analytical And Digital Photogrammetry, Satellite Photogrammetry, 3D Virtual City, Holography, Urban Vehicle Navigation & Tracking.
