Julio began his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Virginia Tech in the Fall of 2021 after receiving his B.S in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University. His undergraduate research was conducting material characterization of pendant groups within poly(ethylene) glycol (PEG) hydrogels and is now focusing on researching treatments for brain cancer.
