Prof. Dr. Kun Qian is the vice president of the School of Veterinary Medicine of Yangzhou University, and also a director of the Poultry Disease Branch of the Chinese Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, a member of the Veterinary Microbiology Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Microbiology, and an executive director of the Veterinary Immunology Branch of the Jiangsu Immunology Society. He graduated from Yangzhou University with a doctorate in preventive veterinary medicine. He mainly studies poultry tumors and immunosuppressive diseases, such as the molecular mechanisms of MDV, ALV, REV, CAV, etc., and the detection, monitoring, and purification of poultry immunosuppressive diseases.
