Dr. Tommaso Cai is the acting Director of the Department of Urology, Santa Chiara Regional Hospital, Trento, Italy. He is a full member of the European Association of Urology Guideline Board on Urological Infections and the European Section for Infections in Urology (ESIU), as well as the secretary of the Italian Society of Andrology. Moreover, his scientific activity is documented in several books in the urological field, addressing issues of prostate and bladder cancer, urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted diseases, andrological surgery, and robotic and mini-invasive surgery, making use of novel technologies. He is the author and editor of several books. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the MDPI journal Uro. Moreover, he conducted several clinical trials (observational and RCTs) as a principal investigator or coordinator.
