Prof. Ernesto Palma obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery on 26 March 1993 at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, discussing the experimental thesis “The central effects of interleukins”. In February 1996 he was the winner of the competition for University Researcher, discipline group N. E07 (Pharmacology). Since 1 October 1996, he has been serving as a researcher at the Chair of Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy II of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University “Magna Græcia” of Catanzaro, Catanzaro, Italy. He is the author of more than 130 scientific publications, many of which appeared in international journals. His h-index is 30 (source from Scopus). He has participated in communications at numerous national and international conferences.
