Pingping Liu is an associate Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Science and Technology Beijing, Deputy Director of Material Research Institute (concurrent post) at the Beijing BeiYe Functional Materials Co. LTD, and Distinguished scholars of ITER China. He is also a Member of the Standing Committee of Nuclear Materials Experts of China National Think Tank for Materials and Device Scientists, and a Member of the organization committee of the 2nd National Light alloy Material Technology Forum. His main research interests are microstructure and property of metal and alloys. He has published more than 60 papers in academic journals and a chapter of the monograph Fusion Energy.
