Prof. Emmanuel Karapidakis is the dean of the School of
Engineering and the director of the Energy, Environment, and Climate Change
Institute, Hellenic Mediterranean University, Greece. He is the scientific
coordinator of many European, nationally funded projects and several privately
funded projects. He is a member of IEEE and a member of the North-Eastern Europe
Energy Institute (ΙΕΝΕ). His research interests include energy policy, power
systems operation, diverse and dispersed generation, micro-grids, renewable
energy sources, and energy trading.
