NCRTC enhances last-mile connectivity for RRTS
Meerut: To improve last-mile connectivity for passengers on Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor, NCRTC, nodal agency for the Rs 30,270 crore high-speed rail project, is collaborating with feeder operators, cabs, autorickshaws, and bike taxi service providers to expand these services.
NCRTC has issued large-scale expressions of interest for feeder services at all 25 stations from Delhi to Meerut.
With the commencement of Namo Bharat train operations, NCRTC is introducing rental two-wheelers and bicycles at stations. Currently, Namo Bharat trains run over 34 km from Sahibabad to Modi Nagar, covering 8 stations.
