Police recover 27 stolen bikes
Nashik: In a joint operation with the Jalgaon police, the Nashik city police arrested Kishor Sanjay Chaudhary (30) and recovered 27 stolen vehicles. Chaudhary, a resident of Parola in the Jalgaon district, had stolen these vehicles from various locations in Nashik.
ACP (Crime) Sandeep Mitke said police commissioner Sandeep Karnik formed a special squad to investigate undetected vehicle theft cases in the city.

This team began gathering information on stolen vehicles and, acting on a tip-off, traveled to Parola. There, they received information about Kishor Chaudhary's involvement in vehicle theft. The police, with assistance from the Parola police, detained him.
When questioned, Chaudhary admitted to stealing 27 motorcycles from different parts of Nashik. He revealed that he sold these vehicles to farmers and small workers in Shivre, Tarvade, Adgaon, and Dharangon villages of Jalgaon.
Based on Chaudhary's information, the police have detected one vehicle theft case from Mumbai Naka, three from Satpur, and ten from Panchavati police stations. The investigation into the remaining stolen motorcycles continues.
CP Sandeep Karnik, DCP (Crime) Prashant Bacchav, and ACP (Crime) Sandeep Mitke supervised the detection efforts. Each year, Nashik city reports approximately 600 stolen motor vehicles, but the detection rate for these stolen motorcycles remains around 20 percent.
