Meghalaya docs also join agitation
The Florence Total Women and Maternity Care-cum- diagnostic centre in Jowai and Bethany Hospitals suspended OPD services across all units on Saturday to express solidarity with the strike. A candlelight vigil was held at the Bethany Hospitals premises, reports Manosh Das.

Resident docs strike cripples services at Raj govt hospitals
Medical services at state-run hospitals in Rajasthan were affected as resident doctors went on strike to protest the alleged rape and murder of a doctor in Kolkata. While elective surgeries were postponed, emergency and ICU services remained operational. The strike, which included doctors from major hospitals, might continue unless the government's demands are met.
