In whatever angle they portray dedication, kinship, or the feast, these movies serve as a great watch. Here are the five films that you can enjoy during Ganesh festival :

Agneepath (2012): A Typology of Revenge and Loyalty
Many might remember Bollywood movie “Agneepath” directed by Karan Malhotra which has one of the finest look of Ganesh Chaturthi in Bollywood. Featuring Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt the movie is a gripping tale of reprisal and atonement. The song ‘Deva Shree Ganesha’ which is picturised on the Ganesh festival is easily one of the most appealing fabulous looking and feel good number in the movie. This way it depicts the devotion as well as the victory of the noble protagonists over the evil villains, thus it is appropriate to watch it during the course of the festival.

While the movie is about the journey of a man in the crime world it has one of the most iconic scenes of Ganesh Chaturthi in Bollywood. The song “Sindoor Lal Chadayo” is very important in the movie as it displays the deep-rooted religious spirit in the life of the hero despite all sorts of disturbances in his life. For these reasons therefore, the story as presented in the film together with a portrayal of faith makes the movie very appealing during Ganesh Chaturthi period.

Don (2006): A classic piece of literature that has originated a new genre of literary work gets a holiday twist from one of its most prominent authors.
