Pragya Jaiswal, who was recently seen in Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu starrer Khel Khel Mein, had the opportunity to work alongside Salman Khan. The actress, who primarily stars in Telugu films, opened up about her experience working with Salman on his 2021 film Antim, where she shot two songs that were ultimately cut from the final version.
While discussing the deletion of her scenes from the Salman Khan-Aayush Sharma film Antim, Pragya Jaiswal mentioned that she had filmed for the movie, including two songs.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, she explained that since the film was a remake of a Marathi movie, her character didn’t exist in the original version. According to her, there was initially no female lead opposite Salman Khan's cop character.
She went on to explain that since Salman Khan was in the film, there was an expectation to create a complete storyline for his character, including a love interest and songs. However, when the senior team members reviewed the film, they realized that this addition was deviating from the original concept. They ultimately decided it was in the best interest of the film and for her as well to remove those parts, as forcing that track might not have benefited the film or her as an actor.

Despite this, Pragya expressed her gratitude for the experience. “I worked with Salman sir, I am very happy. I did a song (with him) for the world to see so I am very happy. I’m grateful for the experience because there are certain things in your hands and there are certain things that are not in your hands. So why worry about the things you can’t change? Just be grateful you got to experience that. In my very first Hindi venture, I worked with the biggest star in this country – I’m happy. There is a song for the world to see and that’s enough. Maybe I was meant to do one song with Salman sir,” she shared.

Pragya also praised Salman Khan’s supportive nature, recalling his reassuring words, “He was so sweet, so positive and so supportive about the decision. He was so supportive towards me that he said, ‘Pragya, we will make sure you have the best debut. If it’s not with me, I will make sure you still do good in this industry and we are there to support you.”

She further mentioned that she was giving the interview from Salman Khan's agency office, noting that he is someone who truly supports those he takes under his wing. "So what can I ask for more than this?” she expressed.
Pragya was last seen in 'Khel Khel Mein' alongside Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk.
