Throwback: When Tabu revealed she shares a timeless bond with Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan: “These are the unconditional relationships..."

Ajay Devgn and Tabu, two of India’s most celebrated actors, share a bond that dates back to their adolescence. Growing up together, they have both carved out illustrious careers in the film industry, often collaborating on projects that have left a significant mark on Bollywood. Their first on-screen appearance together was in the 1994 film 'Vijaypath', and more recently, they have been seen in successful films like 'Drishyam' and 'Bholaa'.

Tabu’s professional journey has also seen her working closely with another Bollywood heavyweight, Salman Khan.Throughout the 90s and early 2000s, she shared the screen with both Salman and Ajay, forging friendships that have stood the test of time. For Tabu, these relationships transcend the typical boundaries of professional camaraderie; she considers Salman and Ajay to be more like family.
In a candid interview during the promotion of De De Pyaar De in 2019, Tabu spoke about the depth of her friendships with Salman and Ajay. She emphasized that their bond is pure and unconditional, stating, “Both Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn will always be there for me no matter what. Our friendship is not just about work; it’s about deep, mutual respect and affection.”
Reflecting on her relationships with these two stars, Tabu told PTI, “You meet people like Salman and Ajay who transcend your work relationships, and just by being the people they are, they become that for you. It’s not like ‘banking’ on them, but you know these are the bonds wherein you don’t have to meet, express or profess friendship for each other. They are unconditional.”

She further elaborated, “These are the unconditional relationships I have in my life. These are a part of my life as the majority of my life has been entwined and intertwined with my work. These are the people I’ve met through my work. I know they will never let me fall in any which way. They are like family.”
Tabu’s admiration for Salman and Ajay is evident as she expresses, “I love these people unconditionally. With Salman, it is one of the non-negotiable relationships I have.” Her words highlight the unique and enduring nature of these friendships, which have remained strong despite the pressures and demands of their careers.
On the work front, Tabu was last seen in 'Crew', co-starring Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. She is currently been seen with Ajay in 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha', which released today.
