  • Nets' Amari Bailey: Joins Nets on Exhibit 10 deal

Bailey signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Nets on Thursday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

Bailey was the 41st pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and played for the Hornets last season. He's unlikely to make the roster for the start of the regular season, but he'll add depth in training camp and should contend for a G League role in a worst-case scenario.

  • Nets' Tyson Etienne: Inks deal with Brooklyn

The Nets signed Etienne on Tuesday, Sharif Phillips-Keaton of USA Today reports.

Etienne likely signed an Exhibit 10 contract, so he'll get to participate in training camp before presumably joining Brooklyn's G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets. Etienne has yet to make his NBA regular-season debut.

  • Nets' Jacky Cui: Joining Brooklyn on two-way deal

Cui is close to reaching agreement with the Nets on a two-way deal, Lucas Kaplan of NetsDaily.com reports.

Shortly after going undrafted in June, Cui reached agreement in principle with the Trail Blazers on an Exhibit 10 contract. Though the Trail Blazers never officially announced his signing, Cui suited up for Portland's Las Vegas Summer League entry, playing just 7.2 minutes per game over three contests. Since the 21-year-old wing didn't sign with Portland, he apparently kept his options open as a free agent and found a better situation with a Brooklyn squad that still had a pair of two-way spots available. A 6-foot-8 wing from China, Cui attracted more attention from NBA teams after he wrapped up his second season in the Chinese Basketball Association with the Guangzhou Loong Lions, with whom he averaged 15.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.7 three-pointers and 1.6 steals in 34.5 minutes over 56 appearances. Cui is still considered a raw prospect, so he's likely to spend the majority of the 2024-25 season in the G League.

  • Nets' Bojan Bogdanovic: Cleared to play in exhibition

Bogdanovic (wrist/foot) is scheduled to play in an exhibition game Sept. 5 in Zagreb, Croatia, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

The exhibition game is in honor of the late Drazen Petrovic, a Yugoslav and Croatian basketball legend who blazed the trail for many European players -- including Bogdanovic -- to make the jump to the NBA. Acquired from the Knicks earlier this summer in the deal that sent Mikal Bridges to New York, Bogdanovic saw his 2023-24 season come to an end in late April during the playoffs, when he sustained a left foot injury that required surgery followed by a three-month evaluation timeline. He also underwent an additional surgery on his left wrist May 22 that required a 6-to-8-week recovery, but Bogdanovic's ability to compete in the exhibition suggests that he received full medical clearance at some point in late July or early August. Bogdanovic should thus be on track to be a full participant when the Nets open training camp Oct. 1.
