Cardiovascular Disease
(30-year risk)

Based on
Pencina MJ, D’Agostino Sr RB, Larson MG, Massaro JM, Vasan RS. Predicting the thirty-year risk of cardiovascular disease: the Framingham Heart Study. Circulation. 2009 Jun 23;119:3078. PMID:19506114. PMCID:PMC2748236.

Outcome
“Hard” CVD (coronary death, myocardial infarction, stroke), “general” CVD (coronary death, myocardial infarction, coronary insufficiency, angina, ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, transient ischemic attack, peripheral artery disease, heart failure)

Duration of follow-up
Maximum of 35 years, 30-year risk prediction

Population of interest
Individuals 20 to 59 years and free of CVD and cancer at baseline examination

Predictors
