Code of Conduct

This draft code of conduct is still under development.  This is not a legal document and was not put to the IPCC for approval but aims to share expectations of standards of conduct in advance of events.

The IPCC is administered in accordance with WMO and UN rules and procedures, including ethical principles as outlined in UN EthicsWMO Ethics Function, WMO Staff Regulations and Retaliation. In addition, the Secretariat together with the Heads of the Technical Support Units have drafted a code of conduct to be applied to meetings of the IPCC.  Staff in the Technical Support Units are governed by the rules of the hosting institutions.
