Für Internetautritte von Einrichtungen des KIT betreibt das SCC das Content-Management System OpenText Web Site Management (WSM). Das System ermöglicht ein einfaches Erstellen und Bearbeiten von Webseiten ohne Programmierkenntnisse und stellt dafür Vorlagen im Corporate Design des KIT zur Verfügung.
In der kurzen Einführungsveranstaltung lernen Sie den Umgang mit dem Redaktionssystem und können Ihre eigenen Websites damit gestalten. Neben den Grundlagen zu Templates und RedDot-Strukturen erhalten Sie wertvolle Tipps zum Umgang mit dem System.
Die Veranstaltung richtet sich (nur) an Mitarbeitende und Hiwis von Instituten, Fakultäten und Einrichtungen des KIT!

Each year, representatives of the national research community using the high-performance computing resources of HLRS meet for the annual HLRS Results and Review Workshop. During the two day event, participants present and discuss the latest results of their research projects from the past 12 months using extensive high-performance scientific computing.
This year's meeting will take place at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
The fee for the workshop is € 175.00 including the proceedings (which will be delivered to the participants about 6 months after the workshop) and will be invoiced just after the workshop.
 
The workshop takes place on 2 days:
10.10.2024 from 09:00 to 18:00
11.10.2024 from 09:00 to 14:00
 
There is an optional evening event with dinner on the first day, 10.10.24 from 18:00 to 23:00.

Das Scientific Computing Center lädt Sie herzlich am 16. Oktober 2024 zum Einführungskurs "Hochleistungsrechnen (HPC) und Datenmanagement" ein. Die Veranstaltung richtet sich an alle (zukünftigen) Nutzer der bwHPC-Cluster (bwUniCluster 2.0, bwForCluster), BaWü-Datenföderation sowie der NHR@KIT-Infrastruktur inkl. HoreKa und umfasst allgemeine Informationen über Zugang und Nutzung der Cluster und Speichersysteme. Die Veranstaltung kombiniert Vorträge mit Tutorien und richtet sich an Einsteiger. Es fallen keine Teilnahmegebühren an.

Das Scientific Computing Center lädt Sie herzlich am 17. Oktober 2024 zum Kurs "Fortgeschrittene Hochleistungsrechnen (HPC) und Daten Managementthemen" ein. Die Veranstaltung richtet sich an alle aktiven, forgeschrittenen Nutzer der bwHPC-Cluster (bwUniCluster, bwForCluster) und des Hochleistungsrechners HoreKa und umfasst Batch- und Job-Scripting, weiterführendes Jobmanagement (inkl. für parallele Anwendungen), Kompilieren, Remote-Visualisierung und Daten-Management. Vorkenntnisse im Umgang mit der Bash-Shell und dem Linux-Kommandozeileninterface werden für diesen Kurs empfohlen. Die Präsenzveranstaltung kombiniert Vorträge mit Tutorien. Es fallen keine Teilnahmegebühren an.
