While Ch'i isn't your standard steakhouse, it is still one of the better spots in town where you can score an ultimately delicious steak—"and that's what we're looking for, isn't it? Executive Chef Giovanni Pisil has put together an unmatched menu of Latin and Chinese cuisine (sometimes referred to as "Chino-Latino") where flavors pop and guests happily indulge. Yes, you'll find a delightful Dim Sum menu featuring duck dumplings, pork belly bao buns, and crispy chicken wontons. But you'll also find a 34oz porterhouse steak, brought to a new level with black pepper soysauce, smoked chili sauce, and lemongrass ginger chimuchurri; as well as a Mongolian New York strip served with broccolini and jasmine rice. But their true gem is a 36oz fire riasted tomahawk made with truffle paste, shiitake mushrooms, house smoked chili sauce, that same lemongrass chimichurri, plus a tamari lemon ponzu to bring it all together.
Recommended for Steakhouses because: Ch'i makes the list thanks to its one-of-a-kind steaks that perfectly blend Chinese and Latin flavors, while also maintaining superb service and a delightful ambiance.
Priscilla's expert tip: Splurge for one of the signature steaks—"they highlight the Chinese-Latin fusion concept here best.
No doubt you remember Nusret Gökçe, also known as Salt Bae, who became a meme sensation just a few years back. But did you know he was also the man behind more than a dozen high-end restaurants? The Miami location of Nusr-Et is as posh as you might imagine, with an impressive menu you won't find anywhere else, catering to high-rollers and . Sure there's oysters and tuna tartare, but then you keep looking and you find things like an Ottoman salad, Istanbul steak, the mustard-marinated #Saltbae Tomahawk, and the real showstoppers: the 24 karat coated Gold Steak and Golden Tomahawk that'll be the talk of your group for years to come. Of course, you can also opt to have something a bit more sensible, like a burger or mediterranean seabass. Just don't forget to check out their extensive beverage list and snap a selfie with the Salt Bae mural before you head out!
Recommended for Steakhouses because: With unique offerings like the Kafes, Ottoman Steak, and Golden Tomahawk, along with Turkish and Lebanese wines, and its meme-connection, it's certainly worth a visit.
Priscilla's expert tip: With a place that offers more variety than the average steakhouse, don't be afraid to go out of your comfort zone with your order.
Though Toro Toro is located in the lobby of the newly renovated InterContinental Miami, don't think of this as a hotel restaurant; think of this as a restaurant that happens to be located in a hotel. Renowned Chef Richard Sandoval, who runs 34 establishments, including the nearby Kokoriko Natural Rotisserie, modeled this interpretation of a Pan-Latin steakhouse after his successful Toro Toro Dubai. The Mexico City native, who calls Miami one of his favorite cities, offers a great variety of small plates, ranging from ceviche nikkei (Peruvian-Japanese style) with ahi tuna, sweet potato, cucumber and quinoa to arepas with short ribs, guacamole and crema. The churrascaria and grill offers a number of cuts of meat and poultry, a few of which--like the small plates--can be shared family style, such as the "rodizio experience." If you prefer to dine a la carte, larger main dishes include several cuts of beef, achiote barbecued salmon and pan-roasted Florida grouper. Wash it all down with a specialty cocktail such as the "Ring My bell," made with Herradura Reposado Tequila, Cointreau, lime, bell pepper and rosemary. A well-informed staff is on hand to decipher more difficult menu items and drinks, but you don't need them to understand this: Dessert. Churros. Yum.
Recommended for Steakhouses because: This upscale steakhouse will make you feel like a king with impeccable service plus an unbeatable menu including an out of this world churrasco platter.
Priscilla's expert tip: Renowned chef and Mexico City native Richard Sandoval brings his tasty Pan-Latin steakhouse from Dubai to Miami.

Recommended for Steakhouses because: Christy's is one of the most reliable spots for a steak worth driving out for (or extending a business lunch for, if you're already nearby).
Priscilla's expert tip: Christy's is always a refined spot, and they always put out some classic holiday decore for the season so keep it in mind for a steak dinner at the end of some nearby holiday shopping.
Earlier this year, owners of the former Shula's Steakhouse in Miami Lakes decided to drop the Shula name. Now, there's a new contender in town, and so far it's getting solid reviews. ML Steaks and Sports features a more hip and casual atmosphere than its predecessor, serving Linz Heritage Angus beef steaks (filet mignon, new york strip, and ribeye) plus a variety of burgers, wings, steak sandwiches, meatloaf, ribs, mahi mahi, and more. There are also some vegetarian options available, including a veggie burger and penne pasta. Patrons of the restaurant say service is excellent, and some also seem pleased with the personal televisions at every table (great for when there's a game you want to watch that the bar isn't showing).
Recommended for Steakhouses because: This newbie to the list is a great option for quality steak when you're not feeling up to a fussy dress code.
Priscilla's expert tip: When you want to catch a game over dinner but they're not playing it at the bar, make sure to ask for a table instead where you control the channels.
This popular steakhouse, which offers sublime outdoor dining on the waterfront, complete with sweeping views of exclusive Fisher Island, recently celebrated 25 years on South Beach. Watch cruise ships leaving the Port of Miami as you dig into lemon pepper chicken or grilled salmon. Of course, heartier appetites will yearn for a bite of one of Smith & Wollensky's famous steaks, whether it's filet mignon, English cut prime rib, or grilled sirloin, this desire should not be pushed aside. If it's too hot on the lovely deck, enjoy views from the massive picture window inside the dimly lit, upscale interior. Reservations recommended.
Recommended for Steakhouses because: A top-notch experience between high-caliber service, gorgeous views, and of course, phenomenal steak is what you'll have at Smith & Wollensky.
Priscilla's expert tip: Make sure to look over their award-winning wine list and ask your server for pairing ideas.
This innovative steakhouse in the heart of South Beach is the talk of the town. The quality of their meat shows, and you'll know it immediately when sinking your teeth into everything from Miyazaki Japanese Kobe and Kansas City strip to rack of lamb, tuna tataki or dry-aged prime tomahawk. Meat-heavy pasta dishes are also available, including a meatball bucatini and a parpadelle bolognase. To accompany dinner, guests can look forward to a selection of over 500 wines, numerous hand-crafted cocktails, and a lengthy list of indulgent side dishes like truffled whipped potatoes, four cheese mac & cheese, creamed spinach, and brussel sprouts with pancetta.
Recommended for Steakhouses because: Red is a must for Miami's meat loving foodies, providing numerous dinner options, friendly waitstaff, and a trendy yet relaxed ambiance that is much appreciated.
Priscilla's expert tip: Happy hour specials are only available at the bar, so don't ask for a table and get surprised by the check later on.
Frequented by an upscale, highly visible clientele, Prime 112 is a steakhouse without compare. Its decor honors the restaurant's historic structure while invigorating it with modern detailing. The menu continues this theme of reconsidered classics. Dry-aged prime beef arrives sizzling, cooked to your specifications, and topped with a choice of butters or sauces (among them, peppercorn, horseradish cream, peanut hoisin, curry mayo, and english mustard). "Accessories" are sublime: truffled mac and cheese, sautéed forest mushrooms, or even rum-baked sweet plantains. Desserts, too, get stylish attention â" apple pie is topped with candied walnut streusel, while chocolate pudding cake flaunts Amarene cherries and a dollop of sweet cream.
Recommended for Steakhouses because: Between the wide steak selection (8 oz. filet mignon to 40 oz. porterhouse for two) and celebrities aplenty, Prime 112 is a seriously prime choice.
Priscilla's expert tip: Before ordering your steak sauce (or cream), check out their list of special sauces/toppings under the chapeaux list (gorgonzola, goat cheese chive, and even foie gras).
The first Fogo de Chão was opened in Porto Alegre in 1979 by Southern Brazilian--Gaucho country--brothers who had worked their way up from busboys to churrasqueiro chefs. Today, the prix-fixe steakhouse has more than half-a-dozen locations in Brazil and more than twice that in the States. After starting your meal with all you can eat from their enormous salad bar (filled with more than 30 items both imported and local--hot and cold), you're saturated with 15 cuts of beef, pork, lamb and poultry, sliced tableside from skewers, until you've had your fill. And then, of course, there's dessert--perhaps flan, or strawberry cheesecake--if you can still make room, that is.
Recommended for Steakhouses because: You'll enjoy the best selection of meats from Fraldinha (Brazilian sirloin) and filet mignon to new york strip and more at this rodizio-style steak joint.
Priscilla's expert tip: Make sure to check the Market Table options for delicious sides (and vegetarian options) like salads, soups, and feijoda (black bean stew served over rice).
An uber-trendy steakhouse catering to the young and well-to-do on South Beach, STK is more than just a steakhouse. Stylish, eye-catching decor plus a dance floor where you can work off your filet mignon to the best House and retro beats? Unheard of in most fine dining establishments, but then STK is anything but standard. Don't get us wrong, though. This place isn't all flash. The food is just as impressive. Start with a blue iceberg or raw vegetable salad plus the seared scallops. Then work your way to glazed beef short rib, skirt steak, bone-in filet, or on special occasions, a porterhouse. Accompany this with jalapeno cheddar grits and broccolini (the best on the menu) and finish it off with the Bag o' Donuts and you'll never want to leave.
Recommended for Steakhouses because: For those looking for uber-trendy ambiance with your five-star dinner, look no further than STK. It's everything you love about Miami in a steakhouse.
Priscilla's expert tip: Phenomenal happy hour Monday thru Friday from 3-6:30pm, with excellent deals like giant wagyu meatballs and truffle fries for just $6, and beef tartare, signature cocktails, stk and frites and more are just $9.
