The goal of this small museum is the preservation of the marine environment and the creatures that populate it, especially sea turtles. From its early beginnings, when a few farm animals were the only attraction, this zoo has grown to include hundreds of specimens and 23 acres of habitat. The Florida exhibit showcases the state's native creatures and plants, and a special habitat for North American river otters allows visitors to peek in on their antics and activities. The Greenmarket of West Palm Beach has been selling local produce and goods to the community since 1994. City Place is great for shopping; the stores are laid out in a way that walking around them is a pleasant experience. Stop in Starbucks or Panera Bread for a coffee and treat before you get started, then make your way through any of the more than 40 stores ranging from high-end to budget friendly. Don't let the downtown location make you worried about parking fees because when you park in the City Place garage, spend $50 shopping, and show the attendant your same-day receipt, you get four hours free. Paddle Boarding Palm Beach (PBPB) is a great launching point for an exciting adventure on the water, either on a board or in a kayak. Out of Riviera Beach and open seven days a week, PBPB has quality equipment and lots of activities to get the most bang for your buck. The three-hour guided eco tour is an affordable way to explore the MacArthur Beach State Park on the north end of Singer Island. The Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach has grown to become one of Florida's top cultural centers. The Museum has amassed a great collection of works including pieces by Matisse, Monet and Picasso.
