The Inn at Northrup Station has the distinction of being the only hotel within easy walking distance of Portland's Nob Hill neighborhood. Built in 1970 as a standard, 70 room motor lodge, it was transformed into what is probably the most colorful hotel in Portland. Bright furniture, walls and ceilings are found throughout both the common areas and guest rooms. A staff member described the decor as a cross between The Jetsons and Alice in Wonderland. The hotel has Keurigs in the rooms and provide k-cups daily. The hotel's location offers easy access to trendy shopping and dining on NW 21st and 23rd avenues.
