The Wild Detectives

Housed in a charming 1940's bungalow, this cozy indie bookshop functions as a bookstore, a coffee shop and a bar all in one. Opened in 2014, the shop is the creation of Javier García del Moral and Paco Vique, two Spanish civil engineers who wanted to devise a place that would inspire conversation and interaction over good books and booze. Its walls are lined with a small, but dynamic selection of titles by local and international writers, all of which have been carefully co-curated by the local literary community and the owner's literary friends around the globe. Keep an eye out for regular events, ranging from kids' story hours to poetry readings, film screenings, concerts and writing workshops.
