The Seven Stars is a tiny tucked away pub behind the High Court and Fleet Street in London. Steak might not be on the menu every day, but there's a good chance it will be and when it is, it's cooked to perfection. Perhaps because of its location, it's frequented by a mixture of lawyers, barristers, journalists and theatre stars. It's landlady, Roxy having been a star in her day, and the epitome of glamourous London. It's best to arrive in the afternoon to bag a seat, because as soon as the offices close, this pub is ram packed. But on a weekday, or early-ish in the evening you can get in no problem, join the regulars at the bar or find a quiet corner to chat to your friends. The drinks are great, the staff lovely, and the food is an homage to all things great about British cuisine.
