George's Portobello Fish Bar

Towards the very end of Portobello Road Market in Notting Hill is this tiny, yet well know, chippie. Reputed to have the best chips in London, this joint is one of London's top value for money meals as well. For less than £6, your plate will be piled high with gorgeous chips (fries, but don't try calling them that here), a large piece of perfectly battered fish of your choice and peas or salad. Best for lunch and takeaway, there is only outdoor seating in the summer months. Not a seafood lover, then the shwarmas are to die for as well.
