Colorful crab
If you’ve visited the Galapagos Islands, you will have seen many of these Sally Lightfoot crabs hugging the rocks around the islands. They're also very much present in the Sea of Cortes, as are blue-footed and brown boobies and magnificent frigatebirds, also part of the Galapagos Island fauna.

A whale of an adventure
Magdalena Bay is the place to be between mid-January and mid-March, when gray whales (after migrating 12,000 miles) return to calve. The Sea of Cortes is also home to fin, blue and sperm whales, and the dolphin pods number in the hundreds. After viewing this whale, cruise passengers were also treated to a fantastic show given by playful dolphins leaping alongside the boat.
Wild ride through paradise
Cruise guests bounce through the azure-blue water on a Mexican panga boat for an unforgettable ride along the magnificent cliffs of Espiritu Santo.

Rays of light
It was a magical moment onboard the Safari Voyager one evening when a group of Mobula rays visited the ship. The rays put on a graceful show for the delighted passengers, who gazed down on them in awe from the upper decks.

Sunset is a magical time to soak in the beauty of the enchanting island of Espiritu Santo, tucked away in a secluded cove surrounded by fingers of red rock and an expansive golden beach.
