Baseball games might evoke images of sipping on lawnmower beers while scarfing down hot dogs or burgers –  but thankfully, gone are the days when peanuts and Cracker Jacks were the only veg-friendly options. Thanks largely to the folks over at foodservice company Aramark, vegan and vegetarian dishes abound at baseball stadiums all over the country.

Even in regions not traditionally associated with vegetarian cuisine, you can now find plenty of options that are free of meat. In fact, Kansas City, Missouri, and Arlington, Texas happen to be two of the best ballparks in the country for those of us who don't eat anything that comes from an animal.

Whether your diet is strictly plant-based or you just enjoy trying new things, there are plenty of delicious veg-friendly ballpark foods to check out this summer. Here are the 16 best Major League Baseball stadiums for vegan food:

Wrigley Field | Chicago

Animal-free eats at the Cubs’ stadium include veggie burgers, veggie dogs, and the Sloppy Jane – a tasty vegan version of the Sloppy Joe. Vegan protein bars, veggie wraps and hummus-and-vegetable cups are also available.

AT&T Park | San Francisco

The Impossible Burger debuted at AT&T Park this season, and the Field Roast franks and burgers, Cha-Cha bowls with fresh vegetables and pineapple salsa, roasted summer-vegetable sammies, tacos and burritos are also veg-friendly.

Kauffman Stadium | Kansas City

You might not expect to find a valhalla of vegan options at this Midwestern ballpark, but Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City has really leveled up its plant-based treats in recent years. Royals fans can get a meat-free Beyond Burger, Bavarian pretzels, vegan coleslaw and a veggie Philly. The salads, peanuts, pretzels and veggie burritos are also free of meat, dairy and eggs.
