The headphones ARE extremely solidly built as you'd expect from apple. Just wish they were slightly more comfortable as my ears were getting sore after just a couple of hours.
MY ONE annoyance and it's a biggie. YOU CANNOT switch the blasted things off.

These premium bad boys are an absolute statement piece first and foremost so expect to be looked upon with reverence as you glide past people in the street. As for the headphones themselves, they are salubrious, the sound quality is rich in tone and heavy in bass. the highs are high, the mids are anything but and the lows are Barry White you know what I mean? The build quality is simply exquisite. They cost my yearly salary but totally worth the price.
