Quantum spin liquids (QSLs) represent an exotic quantum many-body state characterized by the suppression of long-range magnetic order due to strong quantum fluctuations. The kagome spin-1/2 antiferromagnet (AFM) is a prime candidate for realizing QSLs, but its ground state remains an unresolved conundrum. Here we investigate the recently discovered perfect kagome AFM YCu$_3$(OH)$_{6.5}$Br$_{2.5}$ to elucidate two central enigmas surrounding the kagome AFM. Ultra-sensitive torque magnetometry experiments reveal that the intrinsic magnetic susceptibility arising from the kagome layer remains nearly temperature-independent down to exceedingly low temperatures. This observation seemingly implies the emergence of gapless fermionic spin excitations akin to Pauli paramagnetism in metals. However, most strikingly, these results stand in stark contrast to the conspicuous absence of a temperature-linear contribution to the specific heat. These findings appear irreconcilable with the widely-discussed theoretical frameworks assuming fermionic quasiparticles (QPs), instead suggesting a transition of bosonic QPs into a superfluid state with a gapless Goldstone mode. Furthermore, magnetocaloric measurements evince an entropy anomaly, constituting thermodynamic evidence that magnetic fields instigate the opening of a spin gap, driving a quantum phase transition into a 1/9 magnetization plateau state. These results shed light on the nature of the low-energy excitations in zero and strong magnetic fields, providing crucial insights into the long-standing unresolved issues of the ground state of the kagome AFM.

We theoretically investigate non-Hermitian $p$-wave Fermi superfluidity in one-dimensional spin-polarized Fermi gases which is relevant to recent ultracold atomic experiments. Considering an imaginary atom-dimer coupling responsible for the three-body recombination process in the Lindblad formalism, we discuss the stability of the superfluid state against the atomic loss effect. Within the two-channel non-Hermitian BCS-Leggett theory, the atomic loss is characterized by the product of the imaginary atom-dimer coupling and the $p$-wave effective range. Our results indicate that for a given imaginary atom-dimer coupling, a smaller magnitude of the effective ranges of $p$-wave interaction is crucial for reaching the non-Hermitian $p$-wave Fermi superfluid state.

Using nonequilibrium Green's function approach, we show a divergence in spin conductance and a slowing down of spin relaxation that manifest in the weak effective-Zeeman-field limit. These anomalous spin dynamics result from the magnonic critical point at which magnons become gapless due to spontaneous magnetization. Spin-triplet superconductors provide an ideal platform for realizing topological superconductivity with emergent Majorana quasiparticles. The promising candidate is the recently discovered superconductor UTe$ _2$, but the symmetry of the superconducting order parameter remains highly controversial. Here we determine the superconducting gap structure by the thermal conductivity of ultra-clean UTe$ _2$ single crystals. We find that the $a$ axis thermal conductivity divided by temperature $κ/T$ in zero-temperature limit is vanishingly small for both magnetic fields $\mathbf{H}||a$ and $\mathbf{H}||c$ axes up to $H/H_{c2}\sim 0.2$, demonstrating the absence of any types of nodes around $a$ axis contrary to the previous belief. The present results, combined with the reduction of the NMR Knight shift in the superconducting state, indicate that the superconducting order parameter belongs to the isotropic $A_u$ representation with a fully gapped pairing state, analogous to the B phase of superfluid $ ^3$He. These findings reveal that UTe$ _2$ is likely to be a long-sought three-dimensional (3D) strong topological superconductor characterized by a 3D winding number, hosting helical Majorana surface states on any crystal plane.

In the low-energy limit relevant for dilute neutron matter, the $^3P_0$ interaction is stronger than the $^3P_2$ one which is believed to induce the triplet superfluid in the core. We present the ground-state phase diagram of dilute neutron matter with respect to the magnetic field and numerically estimate the critical temperature of the $^3P_0$ neutron superfluid, which is found to exceed $10^7$ K.

We investigate the spectrum of spin conductivity for a miscible two-component Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) that exhibits spin superfluidity. By using the Bogoliubov theory, the regular part being the spin conductivity at finite ac frequency and the spin Drude weight characterizing the delta-function peak at zero frequency are analytically computed. We demonstrate that the spectrum exhibits a power-law behavior at low frequency, reflecting gapless density and spin modes specific to the binary BEC. At the phase transition points into immiscible and quantum-droplet states, the change in quasiparticle dispersion relations modifies the power law. In addition, the spin Drude weight becomes finite, indicating zero spin resistivity due to spin superfluidity. Our results also suggest that the Andreev-Bashkin drag density is accessible by measuring the spin conductivity spectrum.

We theoretically discuss the non-Hermitian superfluid phase transition in one-dimensional two-component Fermi gases near the $p$-wave Feshbach resonance accompanied by the two-body loss associated with the dipolar relaxation. For the first time we point out that this system gives us an opportunity to explore the interplay among various non-trivial properties such as universal thermodynamics at divergent $p$-wave scattering length, topological phase transition at vanishing chemical potential, and non-Hermitian Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer(BCS) to Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) transition, in a unified manner. In the BCS phase, the loss-induced superfluid-normal transition occurs when the exceptional point appears in the effective non-Hermitian Hamiltonian. In the BEC phase, the diffusive gapless mode can be regarded as a precursor of the instability of the superfluid state. Moreover, we show that the superfluid state is fragile against the two-body loss near the topological phase transition point.

We theoretically propose the laser-induced Andreev reflection between two-component Fermi superfluid and normal states via spatially-uniform Rabi couplings. By analyzing the tunneling current between the superfluid and normal states up to the fourth order in the Rabi couplings, we find that the Andreev current exhibits unconventional non-Ohmic transport at zero temperature. Remarkably, the Andreev current gives the only contribution in the synthetic junction system at zero detunings regardless of the ratio of the chemical potential bias to the superfluid gap, which is in sharp contrast to that in the conventional superconductor-normal metal junction. Our result may also pave a way for understanding the black hole information paradox through the Andreev reflection as a quantum-information mirror.

We theoretically investigate optical (frequency-dependent) bulk spin transport properties in a spin-1/2 topological Fermi superfluid. We specifically consider a one-dimensional system with an interspin {\it p}-wave interaction, which can be realized in ultracold atom experiments. Developing the BCS-Leggett theory to describe the Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer (BCS) to Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) evolution and the $\mathbb{Z}_2$ topological phase transition in this system, we show how the spin transport reflects these many-body aspects. We find that the optical spin conductivity, which is a small AC response of a spin current, shows the spin gapped spectrum in the wide parameter region and the gap closes at $\mathbb{Z}_2$ topological phase transition point. Moreover, the validity of the low-energy effective model of the Majorana zero mode is discussed along the BCS-BEC evolution in connection with the scale invariance at {\it p}-wave unitarity.

We consider gauge/gravity correspondence between maximally supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory in ($p+1$) dimensions and superstring theory on the near-horizon limit of the D$p$-brane solution. The string-frame metric is AdS$_{p+1}\times S^{8-p}$ times a Weyl factor, and there is no conformal symmetry except for $p=3$. In a previous paper by one of the present authors, the free-field result of gauge theory has been reproduced from string theory for a particular operator which has angular momentum along $S^{8-p}$. In this paper, we extend this result to operators which have angular momenta along AdS$_{p+2}$. Our approach is based on a Euclidean formulation proposed by Dobashi, Shimada and Yoneya and on the "string bit" picture. We first show that the spinning string solution in Lorentzian AdS, found by Gubser, Klebanov and Polyakov, can be recast in a form which connects two points on the boundary of Euclidean AdS. Transition amplitudes of such strings can be interpreted as gauge theory correlators. We study the case of zero gauge coupling by ignoring interactions among string bits (massless particles in ten-dimensional spacetime which constitute a string), and show that the free-field results of gauge theory are reproduced.

We show that the optical spin conductivity being a small AC response of a bulk spin current and elusive in condensed matter systems can be measured in ultracold atoms. We demonstrate that this conductivity contains rich information on quantum states by analyzing experimentally achievable systems such as a spin-1/2 superfluid Fermi gas, a spin-1 Bose-Einstein condensate, and a Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid. The obtained conductivity spectra being absent in the Drude conductivity reflect quasiparticle excitations and non-Fermi liquid properties. Accessible physical quantities include the superfluid gap and the contact for the superfluid Fermi gas, gapped and gapless spin excitations as well as quantum depletion for the Bose-Einstein condensate, and the spin part of the Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid parameter elusive in cold-atom experiments. Unlike its mass transport counterpart, the spin conductivity serves as a probe applicable to clean atomic gases without disorder and lattice potentials. Our formalism can be generalized to various systems such as spin-orbit coupled and nonequilibrium systems.

We investigate local quantum field theories for one-dimensional (1D) Bose and Fermi gases with contact interactions, which are closely connected with each other by Girardeau's Bose-Fermi mapping. While the Lagrangian for bosons includes only a two-body interaction, a marginally relevant three-body interaction term is found to be necessary for fermions. Because of this three-body coupling, the three-body contact characterizing a local triad correlation appears in the energy relation for fermions, which is one of the sum rules for a momentum distribution. In addition, we apply in both systems the operator product expansion to derive large-energy and momentum asymptotics of a dynamic structure factor and a single-particle spectral density. These behaviors are universal in the sense that they hold for any 1D scattering length at any temperature. The asymptotics for the Tonks-Girardeau gas, which is a Bose gas with a hardcore repulsion, as well as the Bose-Fermi correspondence in the presence of three-body attractions are also discussed.

We investigate a mesoscopic spin current for strongly interacting Fermi gases through a quantum point contact. Under the situation where spin polarizations in left and right reservoirs are same in magnitude but opposite in sign, we calculate the contribution of quasiparticles to the current by means of the linear response theory and many-body $T$-matrix approximation. For a small spin-bias regime, the current in the vicinity of the superfluid transition temperature is strongly suppressed due to the formation of pseudogaps. For a large spin-bias regime where the gases become highly polarized, on the other hand, the current is affected by the enhancement of a minority density of states due to Fermi polarons. We also discuss the broadening of a quasiparticle peak associated with an attractive polaron at a large momentum, which is relevant to the enhancement.

It has been known that in the large N gauge theory at zero temperature and strong 't Hooft coupling, the two-point functions of operators corresponding to supergravity modes obey power-law, with a power different from the free-field value when $p\neq 3$. In this work, we show that the free-field result of gauge theory can be reproduced from the bulk string theory, for the two-point function of an operator Tr(Z^J), where Z is a complex combination of two scalar fields. We assume the spatial direction of worldsheet is discretized into J bits, and use the fact that these bits become independent particles when string tension is zero.

We study observational consequences of the model for dark energy proposed in [1] (Aoki et al., Phys.Rev. D97 (2018) no.4, 043517). We assume our universe has been created by bubble nucleation, and consider quantum fluctuations of an ultralight scalar field. Residual effects of fluctuations generated in an ancestor vacuum (de Sitter space in which the bubble was formed) is interpreted as dark energy. Its equation of state parameter w(z) has a characteristic form, approaching -1 in the future, but -1/3 in the past. A novel feature of our model is that dark energy effectively increases the magnitude of the negative spatial curvature in the evolution of the Hubble parameter, though it does not alter the definition of the angular diameter distance. We perform Fisher analysis and forecast the constraints for our model from future galaxy surveys by Square Kilometre Array and Euclid. Due to degeneracy between dark energy and the spatial curvature, galaxy surveys alone can determine these parameters only for optimistic choices of their values, but combination with other independent observations, such as CMB, will greatly improve the chance of determining them.

In particular, by extinguishing the two-body interaction, one can realize unique systems governed by the three-body interaction, which is otherwise hidden behind the two-body interaction. Here we study one-dimensional bosons with a weak three-body attraction and show that they form few-body bound states as well as a many-body droplet stabilized by the quantum mechanical effect. Their binding energies relative to that of three bosons are all universal and the ground-state energy of the dilute droplet is found to grow exponentially as $E_N/E_3\to\exp(8N^2/\sqrt3π)$ with increasing particle number $N\gg1$. The realization of our system with coupled two-component bosons in an optical lattice is also discussed.

We compute vacuum expectation values of energy-momentum tensor for a minimally coupled scalar field, carefully taking into account the effect of the ancestor vacuum by the Euclidean prescription. In the study of the time evolution, an important role is played by the so-called supercurvature mode, which is non-normalizable on a spatial slice of open universe and decays in time most slowly. We point out that vacuum energy of a quantum field can be regarded as dark energy if mass of the field is of order the present Hubble parameter or smaller. We obtain preliminary results for the dark energy equation of state w(z) as a function of the redshift.

One-dimensional spinless Bose and Fermi gases with contact interactions have the close interrelation via Girardeau's Bose-Fermi mapping, leading to the correspondences in their energy spectra and thermodynamics. However, correlation functions are in general not identical between these systems. We derive in both systems the exact universal relations for correlation functions, which hold for any energy eigenstate and any statistical ensemble of the eigenstates with or without a trapping potential. These relations include the large-momentum behaviors of static structure factors and of momentum distributions as well as energy relations, which connect the sums of kinetic and interaction energies to the momentum distributions. The relations involve two- and three-body contacts, which are the integrals of local pair and triad correlations, respectively. We clarify how the relations for bosons and fermions differ and are connected with each other. In particular, we find that the three-body contact makes no contribution to the bosonic energy relation, but it plays a crucial role in the fermionic one. In addition, we compute the exact momentum distribution for any number of fermions in the unitary limit.

It is known that to imperfectly clone a phase-set of states uncorrelatedly is impossible due to the linearity and the hermitian-preservation of quantum operations deterministically shown by D'Ariano et al. In this paper we address uncorrelated cloning in probabilistic cases. We show that there exists a linear and hermitian-preserving probabilistic map to imperfectly clone a phase-set of states uncorrelatedly. It is pointed out that the existence of such a map is due to the difference between non-unit-trace output operators and normalized (unit-trace) output operators inherent to probabilistic maps. We however prove that such a possibility of uncorrelated cloning is completely excluded by the condition of positivity in addition to the linearity and the hermitian-preservation of quantum operations. Our results implicate that the positivity of quantum operation is richer physical meaning than the one which we usually assume a priori for the necessity of "probability interpretation."

Matrix models play an important role in studies of quantum gravity, being candidates for a formulation of M-theory, but are notoriously difficult to solve. In this work, we present a fresh approach by introducing a novel exact model provably equivalent with low-dimensional bosonic matrix models. In this equivalent model significant local structure becomes apparent and it can serve as a simple toy model for analytical and precise numerical study. We derive a substantial part of the low energy spectrum, find a conserved charge, and are able to derive numerically the Regge trajectories. To exemplify the usefulness of the approach, we address questions of equilibration starting from a non-equilibrium situation, building upon an intuition from quantum information. We finally discuss possible generalizations of the approach.

Its equation of state, $w=ρ/p$, changes from a negative value to $w=1/3$ in the radiation-dominated period, and from $1/3$ to $w=0$ in the MD period. We then consider possible effects of a Planckian universe, which may have existed before inflation, by assuming there was another inflation with the Hubble parameter $H_P (> H_I)$. In this case, modes with wavelengths longer than the current horizon radius are mainly amplified, and the energy density of a quantum field grows with time as $ρ\sim (a/a_0)(H_P H)^2/32$ in the MD period, where $a$ and $a_0$ are the scale factors at each time and at present. Hence, if $H_P$ is of the order of the Planck scale $M_P$, $ρ$ becomes comparable to the critical density $3(M_P H)^2$ at the present time. The contribution to $ρ$ from the long wavelength fluctuations generated before the ordinary inflation has $w=-1/3$ in the free field approximation. We mention a possibility that interactions further amplify the energy density and change the equation of state.

The dynamics of the D0-branes is described by Matrix theory with finite temperature, which is dual to a near extremal D0-brane black hole solution. We analyze the tensor mode and vector modes of a stress tensor and a Ramond-Ramond 1-form current of Matrix theory. Then, we show that if a cutoff surface is close to a horizon of the D0-brane black hole, the linear responses take forms similar to the hydrodynamic stress tensor and current on S^8. By taking a Rindler limit, those linear responses come to obey the hydrodynamics exactly, which is consistent with previous works on a Rindler fluid. We also show that if the cutoff surface is far from the horizon, the linear responses do not take the forms of the hydrodynamic stress tensor and current on S^8. Especially, we find that the vector modes no longer possess a diffusion pole in the low frequency region, which indicates that the linear responses of the D0-branes cannot be explained by hydrodynamics.

We point out that the temperature fluctuations of cosmic microwave background (CMB) can be generated in a way that is different from the one usually assumed in slow-roll inflation. Our mechanism is based on vacuum fluctuations of fields which are at rest at the bottom of the potential, such as Kaluza-Klein modes or string excited states. When there are a large number (typically of order $N\sim 10^{14}$) of fields with small mass in unit of Hubble parameter during the inflationary era, this effect can give significant contributions to the CMB temperature fluctuations. This number $N$ makes it possible to enhance scalar perturbation relative to tensor perturbation. Comparison with the observed amplitudes suggests that models with string scale of order $10^{-5}$ of 4D Planck scale are favorable.

We study correlation functions in (0+1)-dimensional maximally supersymmetric U(N) Yang-Mills theory, which was proposed by Banks et al. as a non-perturbative definition of 11-dimensional M-theory in the infinite-momentum frame. We perform first-principle calculations using Monte Carlo simulations, and compare the results against the predictions obtained previously based on the gauge-gravity correspondence from 10 dimensions. After providing a self-contained review on these predictions, we present clear evidence that the predictions in the large-N limit actually hold even at small N such as N=2 and 3. The predicted behavior seems to continue to the far infrared regime, which goes beyond the naive range of validity of the 10D supergravity analysis. This suggests that the correlation functions also contain important information on the M-theory limit.

We propose a mechanism for the generation of temperature fluctuations of cosmic microwave background. We consider a large number of fields, such as Kaluza-Klein modes and string excitations. Each field contributes to the gravitational potential by a small amount, but an observable level of temperature fluctuations is achieved by summing up the contribution of typically of order 10^{14} fields. Tensor fluctuations are hardly affected by these fields. Our mechanism is based on purely quantum effects, and is different from the "slow-roll" or "curvaton" scenario. Using the observed data, we find constraints on the parameters of this model, such as the size of the extra dimensions and the string scale. Our model predicts a particular pattern of non-gaussianity with a small magnitude.

Eternal inflation is a term that describes a number of different phenomena which have been classified by Winitzki. According to Winitzki's classification these phases can be characterized by the topology of the percolating structures in the inflating, "white," region. In this paper we discuss these phases, the transitions between them, and the way they are seen by a "Census Taker"; a hypothetical observer inside the non-inflating, "black," region. We discuss three phases that we call, "black island," "tubular," and "white island." The black island phase is familiar, comprised of rare Coleman De Luccia bubble nucleation events. The Census Taker sees an essentially spherical boundary, described by the conformal field theory of the FRW/CFT correspondence. In the tubular phase the Census Taker sees a complicated infinite genus structure composed of arbitrarily long tubes. The white island phase is even more mysterious from the black side. Surprisingly, when viewed from the non-inflating region this phase resembles a closed, positively curved universe which eventually collapses to a singularity. Nevertheless, pockets of eternal inflation continue forever. In addition there is an "aborted" phase in which no eternal inflation takes place. Rigorous results of Chayes, Chayes, Grannan and Swindle establish the existence of all of these phases, separated by first order transitions, in Mandelbrot percolation, a simple model of eternal inflation.

We evaluate such correlation functions on the gauge theory side by the Monte Carlo method. Clear power-law behaviors are observed at N=3, and the predicted exponents are confirmed consistently. Our results suggest that the agreement extends to the M-theory regime, where the supergravity analysis in 10 dimensions may not be justified a priori.

In this paper a holographic description of eternal inflation is developed. We focus on the description of an open FRW universe that results from a tunneling event in which a false vacuum with positive vacuum energy decays to a supersymmetric vacuum with vanishing cosmological constant. The observations of a "Census Taker" in the final vacuum can be organized into a holographic dual conformal field theory that lives on the asymptotic boundary of space. We refer to this bulk-boundary correspondence as FRW/CFT duality. The dual CFT is a Euclidean two-dimensional theory that includes a Liouville 2-D gravity sector describing geometric fluctuations of the boundary. The RG flow of the theory is richer than in the ADS/CFT correspondence, and generates two space-time dimensions--one space-like and one time-like. We discuss a number of phenomena such as bubble collisions, and the Garriga, Guth, Vilenkin "persistence of memory," from the dual viewpoint.

We study pocket universes which have zero cosmological constant and non-trivial boundary topology. These arise from bubble collisions in eternal inflation. Using a simplified dust model of collisions we find that boundaries of any genus can occur. Using a radiation shell model we perform analytic studies in the thin wall limit to show the existence of geometries with a single toroidal boundary. We give plausibility arguments that higher genus boundaries can also occur. In geometries with one boundary of any genus a timelike observer can see the entire boundary. Geometries with multiple disconnected boundaries can also occur. In the spherical case with two boundaries the boundaries are separated by a horizon. Our results suggest that the holographic dual description for eternal inflation, proposed by Freivogel, Sekino, Susskind and Yeh, should include summation over the genus of the base space of the dual conformal field theory. We point out peculiarities of this genus expansion compared to the string perturbation series.

In this paper we provide some circumstantial evidence for a holographic duality between bubble nucleation in an eternally inflating universe and a Euclidean conformal field theory. The holographic correspondence (which is different than Strominger's dS/CFT duality) relates the decay of (3+1)-dimensional de Sitter space to a two-dimensional CFT. It is not associated with pure de Sitter space, but rather with Coleman-De Luccia bubble nucleation. Alternatively, it can be thought of as a holographic description of the open, infinite, FRW cosmology that results from such a bubble. The conjectured holographic representation is of a new type that combines holography with the Wheeler-DeWitt formalism to produce a Wheeler-DeWitt theory that lives on the spatial boundary of a k=-1 FRW cosmology. We also argue for a more ambitious interpretation of the Wheeler-DeWitt CFT as a holographic dual of the entire Landscape.

We investigate the holographic correspondence between (p+1)-dimensional ($0\le p\le 4$) SYM theories with 16 supercharges and superstring theories on the near-horizon limit of Dp-brane backgrounds. Following an approach based on the tunneling picture, we study Euclidean superstring semi-classically along null geodesics which connect two points on the boundary of the spacetime. We extend the analysis of hep-th/0308024 and study the fermionic sector of the superstring. For $p\ne 3$, we do not have world-sheet supersymmetry, and the energies of bosonic and fermionic fluctuations do not match. By interpreting the superstring amplitudes as correlators of gauge theory operators with large R-charge J, we obtain gauge theory two-point functions including those of fermionic operators. Our approach yields results consistent with the previous supergravity analysis for the D0-branes, including the subleading part in J. Our prediction from holography is that the two-point functions for the supergravity modes are power-law behaved, even for the non-conformal ($p\ne 3$) SYM theories.

As an extension of the so-called BMN conjecture, we investigate the plane-wave limit for possible holographic connection between bulk string theories in non-conformal backgrounds of D$p$-branes and the corresponding supersymmetric gauge theories for $p<5$. Our work is based on the tunneling picture for dominant null trajectories of strings in the limit of large angular momentum. The tunneling null trajectories start from the near-horizon boundary and return to the boundary, and the resulting backgrounds are time-dependent for general D$p$-branes except for $p=3$. We develop a general method for extracting diagonalized two-point functions for boundary theories as Euclidean (bulk) S-matrix in the time-dependent backgrounds. For the case of D0-brane, two-point functions of supergravity modes are shown to agree with the results derived previously by the perturbative analysis of supergravity. We then discuss the implications of the holography for general cases of D$p$-branes including the stringy excitations. All the cases ($p\ne 3, p<5$) exhibit interesting infra-red behaviors, which are different from free-field theories, suggesting the existence of quite nontrivial fixed-points in dual gauge theories.

In most cases, the superstring theories contain negative mass-squared. We clarify a condition that the world-sheet free fields have positive mass-squared. We then apply this condition to the enhancon geometry and find that the null geodesics with fixed radius exist only for p=0 case. They define the superstring theories with positive mass-squared. For p>0 case, we show that there is no null geodesic with fixed radius. We also discuss the decoupling limit which gives the dual geometry of super Yang-Mills theory with 8 supercharges. We perform a complete harmonic analysis of the bosonic linearized fluctuations around a heavy D-particle background in IIA supergravity in 10 dimensions and find that the spectrum precisely agrees with that of the physical operators of Matrix theory. The explicit forms of two-point functions give predictions for the large $N$ behavior of Matrix theory with some special cutoff. We discuss the possible implications of our results for the large N dynamics of D-particles and for the Matrix-theory conjecture. We find an anomalous scaling behavior with respect to the large N limit associated to the infinite momentum limit in 11 dimensions, suggesting the existence of a screening mechanism for the transverse extension of the system.
