A Dirichlet type problem for non-pluripolar complex Monge-Ampère equations
Abstract: In this paper, we study a Dirichlet type problem for the non-pluripolar complex Monge - Ampère equation with prescribed singularity on a bounded domain of $\mathbb{C}^n$. We provide a local version for an existence and uniqueness theorem proved by Darvas, Di Nezza and Lu. Our work also extends a result of Ahag, Cegrell, Czyz and Pham.

Higher complex Sobolev spaces on complex manifolds
Abstract: We study higher complex Sobolev spaces and their corresponding functional capacities. In particular, we prove the Moser-Trudinger inequality for these spaces and discuss some relationships between these spaces and the complex Monge-Ampère equation.

High-Order Numerical Method for 1D Non-local Diffusive Equation
Abstract: In this paper we present a non-local numerical scheme based on the Local Discontinuous Galerkin method for a non-local diffusive partial differential equation with application to traffic flow. In this model, the velocity is determined by both the average of the traffic density as well as the changes in the traffic density at a neighborhood of each point. We discuss nonphysical behaviors that can a… ▽ More

On the finite energy classes of quaternionic plurisubharmonic functions
Abstract: We investigate the finite $p$-energy classes $E_p$ of quaternionic plurisubharmonic functions of Cegrell type. We also construct an example to show that the optimal constant in the energy estimate is strictly bigger than $1$ for $p>0$, $p\neq 1$. This leads us to the fact that we can not use the variational method to solve the quaternionic Monge-Ampère equation for the classes $E_p$ when $p>0$,… ▽ More

Computing the Weil representation of a superelliptic curve
Abstract: We study the Weil representation $ρ$ of a curve over a $p$-adic field with potential reduction of compact type. We show that $ρ$ can be reconstructed from its stable reduction. For superelliptic curves of the form $y^n=f(x)$ at primes $p$ whose residue characteristic is prime to the exponent $n$ we make this explicit.

Minimax Optimal Rate for Parameter Estimation in Multivariate Deviated Models
Abstract: We study the maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) in the multivariate deviated model where the data are generated from the density function $(1-λ^{\ast})h_{0}(x)+λ^{\ast}f(x|μ^{\ast}, Σ^{\ast})$ in which $h_{0}$ is a known function, $λ^{\ast} \in [0,1]$ and $(μ^{\ast}, Σ^{\ast})$ are unknown parameters to estimate. The main challenges in deriving the convergence rate of the MLE mainly come from two… ▽ More

Strong identifiability and parameter learning in regression with heterogeneous response
Abstract: Mixtures of regression are a powerful class of models for regression learning with respect to a highly uncertain and heterogeneous response variable of interest. In addition to being a rich predictive model for the response given some covariates, the parameters in this model class provide useful information about the heterogeneity in the data population, which is represented by the conditional dis… ▽ More

Beyond Black Box Densities: Parameter Learning for the Deviated Components
Abstract: As we collect additional samples from a data population for which a known density function estimate may have been previously obtained by a black box method, the increased complexity of the data set may result in the true density being deviated from the known estimate by a mixture distribution. To model this phenomenon, we consider the \emph{deviating mixture model}… ▽ More

Entropic Gromov-Wasserstein between Gaussian Distributions
Abstract: We study the entropic Gromov-Wasserstein and its unbalanced version between (unbalanced) Gaussian distributions with different dimensions. When the metric is the inner product, which we refer to as inner product Gromov-Wasserstein (IGW), we demonstrate that the optimal transportation plans of entropic IGW and its unbalanced variant are (unbalanced) Gaussian distributions. Up-to-boundary pointwise gradient estimates for very singular quasilinear elliptic equations with mixed data
Abstract: This paper establishes pointwise estimates up to boundary for the gradient of weak solutions to a class of very singular quasilinear elliptic equations with mixed data: \begin{cases} -\operatorname{div}(A(x,D u))=g-\operatorname{div} f \quad & \mathrm{in} \quad Ω\\ u= 0 \quad & \text{on} \ \partial Ω, \end{cases} where $Ω\subset \mathbb{R}^n$ is sufficiently flat in the sense of Reifenberg.

Heat kernels of generalized degenerate Schrödinger operators and Hardy spaces
Abstract: Let $\displaystyle L = -\frac{1}{w} \, \mathrm{div}(A \, \nabla u) + μ$ be the generalized degenerate Schrödinger operator in $L^2_w(\mathbb{R}^d)$ with $d\ge 3$ with suitable weight $w$ and measure $μ$. The main aim of this paper is threefold. First, we obtain an upper bound for the fundamental solution of the operator $L$. Secondly, we prove some estimates for the heat kernel of $L$ including an… ▽ More
