In many parts of the world, summers are getting hotter, making responsible water consumption more crucial than ever. Through water monitoring with smart water meters, we monitor, evaluate and analyze all our water consumption. At our production site in Linz, we recycle over 104,000 liters of water daily. Because every drop counts!

At our Lens Lab in Linz, we craft lenses to perfectly complement the chosen Silhouette frame, employing specific parameters during production. Our lenses deliver an impeccable visual experience from edge to edge. 100% Silhouette – that means lenses, frames and service all from one supplier, creating eyewear that is consistent from start to finish. This service is available in 25 countries and will be expanded further this year.

Change is the only path towards progress. That’s why our Research & Development department at our headquarters in Linz is constantly driving innovations forward. They work with passion and dedication on new hinge solutions, material improvements and more. Close collaboration with other departments within our company ensures that creative visions become reality. That has earned us over 55 patents.

This year’s Global Brand Conference was a truly unforgettable milestone, celebrating 60 years of Silhouette in Linz, the birthplace of our remarkable journey. Embodying our motto “Let’s break new ground,” we embraced the spirit of innovation, looking ahead to redefine the boundaries of the eyewear industry. The future belongs to the courageous. Celebrating 25 years of Titan Minimal Art, Silhouette teamed up with Polimoda’s future visionaries to bring this iconic design to the runway in a groundbreaking collaboration. Students from the renowned Fashion School reinterpreted the timeless model with avant-garde flair, while staying true to the Silhouettes brand DNA. Our iconic Titan Minimal Art served as the canvas for the students' creative exploration, blending tradition with innovation. The culmination of this artistic journey was unveiled at the Polimoda Graduation Show in Florence, showcasing a metamorphosis of design and a preview of future fashion.
