There’s only one thing we love more than food – celebrating our amazing people! 🏆   Last week we hosted our Annual Awards where we recognise and thank our people for making a significant contribution to our business and brands in FY24. We opened 39 new Red Rooster, Oporto, Chicken Treat Australia and Chargrill Charlie's restaurants last financial year! 🥳 There is so much work that goes into opening a single restaurant and while the bricks and mortar make up the structure - it’s the people who bring it to life. It took collaboration from our property, design and construction teams with our operations and marketing teams, supported by our IT, finance, legal and people teams to reach this milestone – as you can see, it takes a Craveable village to get our delicious brands in your local one! 🍗 Opening 39 stores in 52 weeks was a huge achievement and a company record – well done to our Cravers, franchise partners and team members. 👏

Today we are celebrating one year of Chargrill Charlie's being part of the Craveable family! It’s been an amazing year opening new stores and working with our franchise partners to deliver gourmet food at its finest made with love, every day. Congratulations to our franchise partners, Nathan Kelk and the Charlie’s team on a brilliant year of growing together!

The SWIISH team popped into our Sydney support office last week to stock the kitchen with our very own wellness bar. We loved having Maha Corbett and the team pop in - and looks like they enjoyed our test kitchen just as much as we do! 

It’s a great day in the office when our Red Rooster team shouts lunch! Yesterday teams in our support office got a sneaky taste test of Red Rooster’s new collaboration with Four 'N Twenty - a chicken and gravy pie. Oporto hit the double century last month, opening its 200th store at Sydney’s T1 International Airport. When it comes to gender equity, we know that balanced leadership from the top makes a difference and we're lucky to not only have Karen Bozic at our helm, but to have 63% of our key leaders identify as women. “I’m only where I am because people made time for me,” Karen shared recently. “I feel a responsibility to make it better for the people coming through because there is still so much to do.” As we acknowledge International Women’s Day today, we celebrate our progress and commit to doing more to #InspireInclusion. Sorting and preparing more than 8,000 kilograms of food and groceries is all in a day’s work for members of our People, Chargrill Charlie's and IT teams! Thanks to our Good Deed Day Policy that gives Cravers the opportunity to take two paid volunteering days each year, we were able to join the fight against hunger at Foodbank NSW & ACT. The work Foodbank Australia do to provide essential food and grocery relief to over one million Australians experiencing food insecurity every month is inspiring, and our team walked away feeling grateful to play a small part by preparing almost 15,000 meals for people in need.
