We provide Civil Contracting and Project Management services for government, mining and resource sector clients, working on public and private infrastructure projects. Our Engineers and Project Managers have 40 years of combined experience in government and mining infrastructure. Unlike other civil engineering contractors, we offer blue-chip project management and quality assurance systems as well as local knowledge. This gives clients a powerful point of difference, with in-house capabilities ensuring streamlined project delivery. Based in south-west Queensland, we have successfully completed projects across most of regional Queensland and northern NSW, including remote areas. Our project planning philosophy is based on developing a comprehensive project delivery strategy that ensures key project risks and opportunities are captured prior to any works commencing. Unlike our competitors, we invest heavily in the evaluation of each project from all angles in order to guarantee value for money for our Client. Each project delivery strategy is developed through meticulous methodology development, extensive local supplier evaluation and proactive construction planning resulting in innovative construction solutions for even the most complex infrastructure projects.

Josh "Ray-gun" B-boy Burkin | Operations Manager at Durack Civil. As Operations Manager, Josh choreographs his team like a seasoned b-boy leading a dance crew, busting out daily routines in business management, project juggling, client-facing backflips, and a delicate balance of equipment, resources, and subbies, all while keeping safety and the environment in check. Josh is basically the breakdancing king of civil engineering, delivering a cool $300M+ worth of sweet moves across Southeast Queensland, Western Queensland, and Northern New South Wales. A true Civil Lord, only at Durack Civil. 🤙🏼 Josh Burkin

Repair and upgrade works are currently underway on the Castlereagh Highway between St George and Hebel, addressing damage from multiple floods between November 2021 and May 2022. These efforts, supported by the Commonwealth and State's Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA), include not only reconstruction but also betterment initiatives aimed at enhancing the highway's resilience to future flooding. Durack Civil is delivering these critical improvements, which involve strengthening road surfaces, installing larger culverts, and enhancing drainage systems to mitigate future flood impacts. The project is expected to be completed by early 2025, weather permitting. #CivilEngineering #Infrastructure #Roadworks #FloodRecovery #Construction #Queensland #RoadConstruction https://lnkd.in/g6eHdR6K
