We’ve just announced our FutureSteps local partners for 2024! This year's grants emphasise our goal to help address homelessness. Congratulations to our partners; The Haymarket Foundation, Property Industry Foundation - Haven House, Youth Projects, BMiles Foundation, Rize up, Women’s Property Initiative, and End Street Sleeping Collaboration. FutureSteps is a Lendlease social impact fund designed to support organisations to address homelessness through local systemic change, increasing housing supply and creating stronger pathways to housing security for those most at risk. The SGD$1.6b portfolio of assets acquired by the Warburg Pincus and Lendlease joint venture comprises business parks and high-tech facilities spanning a gross floor area of 4.5 million square feet. At our Silverwater industrial estates, in New South Wales, together with Goodman we jointly held a Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds Roadshow. Our customers got the chance to chat with the Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds team including CEO Naomi Frauenfelder, followed by morning tea and free skin checks by the Australian Skin Cancer Foundation with Jay Allen OAM, melanoma survivor in attendance, importantly promoting wellbeing in the road transport and logistics industries.

The joint venture platform established between Warburg Pincus and Lendlease, with its managed investment vehicle LINO, has acquired a ~S$1.6b portfolio of assets in Singapore. This acquisition marks the first transaction for the joint venture since it was officially launched to focus on life sciences and R&D real estate in Asia Pacific on 31 July 2024. We've partnered with Royal Entomological Society to bring the award-winning 2023 RHS Chelsea Flower Show Insect Garden to Stratford Cross. 🌱 Designed by award-winning and London based garden designer, Tom Massey, it includes an AR bug trail featuring Aardman's 'Lloyd of the Flies'. Funded by Project Giving Back, Lendlease, SHIFT, and RES supporters, the garden is a long-term opportunity for urban insect study and education and will enhance urban green spaces, supporting biodiversity and research.
