Namaste India! In exciting news for Noumi, our signature plant-based milk brand #MILKLAB will now be available in more cafes across India. Recently Peter Brown and Serge Costi travelled to Mumbai to deepen connections with existing customers in the region, and also introduce MILKLAB to new customers. They also had the privilege of meeting India’s Current National Barista Champion, Mahesh Katre. India is renowned for its hot coffee consumption and fast-growing adoption of plant-based beverages, with almond milks highly desired by local consumers. MILKLAB milks are already part of the milk line-up in major premium cafe chains and independent cafes. The highlight of the trip was the signing of the new distribution agreement with #OlympiaIndustries at the Australian Consulate General headquarters, supported by government officials from the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade). Brisbane recently played host to Healthed Australia’s Women and Children’s Health Update 2024 seminar, which featured a variety of participants including Noumi's #Australia’s Own. Noumi’s Sonja Kukuljan PhD spoke with some 100 GPs about plant sterols, including their clever ability to block cholesterol uptake in the gut, allowing for better health outcomes. GPs learnt about simple ways to help patients lower their cholesterol levels, including switching to plant sterol enriched products such as Australia’s Own Cholesterol Lowering Milk. Speaking at the recent Food & Beverage Innovation Forum (FBIF) in China, Noumi’s Chief Marketing Officer Gerard Smith discussed how true collaboration has been at the heart of the success of #MILKLAB.
