Yesterday, Molly Green (GAICD), our Practice Director of Executive Search at Six Degrees Executive, proudly partnered with the Women on Boards program at the University of Newcastle. With her deep expertise in C-Suite and NED recruitment, she shared valuable insights on increasing board diversity and supporting women in securing leadership roles. Across Australia, the gender split at board level is still 65.8% male and 34.2% female. As leaders in executive recruitment, we actively work towards closing this gap, collaborating with our clients to drive a more diverse and inclusive workforce. As part of Six Degrees Executive commitment to reconciliation, we provided our national teams with the opportunity to participate in local cultural experiences to enhance appreciation and understanding of First Nations. This year, members of our Melbourne office toured the Royal Botanic Gardens a significant cultural site for the local Kulin Nation. They gained insight into the rich history of the area through journey of identifying significant native plants, learning about Aboriginal plant uses, customs and the ongoing connection to Country.
