BIG NEWS: Turkish Airlines is coming to SYD ✈️ We’re (Turkish) delighted to announce that #TurkishAirlines will be joining our network of 50 airlines! From 5 December, the four direct services a week from Sydney to Istanbul via Kuala Lumpur will be operated on an A350-900. With four flights per week, SYD will be the airline’s largest port in Australia. In even BIGGER news, Turkish Airlines have also confirmed that Sydney will be the first to get non-stop flights to Istanbul! When it arrives, this groundbreaking service will revolutionise travel between Australia and Europe, where travellers can then access a network of more than 340 destinations across 130 countries on a one-stop itinerary, courtesy of Turkish Airlines’ expansive global hub. Turkish Airlines also serve 110 European destinations, more than any other airline in the world. Scott Charlton John Graham Ahmet Halid Kutluoğlu Gokhan Cengiz

The NSW Government has announced that Sydney’s T1 International Terminal will be the first in NSW to feature Uber’s PIN technology, offering passengers a faster, more seamless travel experience. From 24 September, a new dedicated #Uber pick-up zone, just 20 metres from the terminal doors, will use PIN technology to reduce wait times, ease congestion, and enhance pedestrian safety. We’re also pleased to provide a new, dedicated holding area for Uber drivers closer to the terminal, which will help to address the challenge of rideshare vehicles parking on local suburban streets while waiting for airport trips. The ribbon has been cut for #SydneyGateway! Today, we celebrated the completion of the Sydney Gateway project ahead of its official opening this Sunday, 1 September. NSW Minister for Roads John Graham, Sydney Airport CEO Scott Charlton, Transport for NSW officials and frontline workers gathered to mark this significant milestone. The new toll-free connection will enhance connectivity to Sydney Airport from all parts of the city, especially Western Sydney. To manage traffic flow, Sydney Airport will double the number of roadside staff across the precinct to ensure passengers can get in and out smoothly, as well as switching on overflow drop offs to manage traffic flow at peak periods. Check out these virtual drives to familiarise yourself with the new roads on Transport for NSW's website. 📸 SALTY DINGO
