I am an employee relations specialist with over 15 years experience spanning across the health, disability services, retail, wholesale, engineering and professional services sectors. I hold several years experience working as an in-house practitioner in a large and complex multi-site enterprise, as well as several years experience working closely with businesses of all sizes in a consultancy capacity.
While my expertise has primarily been gained in the not-for-profit sector, my consultancy work has allowed me to develop a strong commercial acumen.
My prior roles have provided me with experience in both the human resources and industrial relations fields. I have engaged in tasks ranging from recruitment, to HR document review and drafting, the provision of advice, support, coaching and training to senior management on human resource and industrial matters, advocating for the organisation before industrial tribunals and in agreement negotiations including with unions, managing direct reports, overseeing budgets, delivering training and seminars on employee relations matters and undertaking workplace investigations in respect of grievances, disputes and misconduct.
I am flexible and adaptable, working well as part of a supportive and collaborative team or working autonomously.
I am resilient, highly organised and innovative with the ability to apply sound judgment, personal integrity and initiative.
