What are some common emotional selling mistakes and how do you avoid them?
When I first started as an SDR right out of university, I was told I needed to emotionally connect with my prospects. While there are a variety of ways to connect, it truly helps to just be their friend. Be conversational! Don't try to pressure them into a sale. Don't beg or be desperate that is seen as manipulative. On the other hand, don't inflate your product. Be open and honest in building trust with one another through short conversations about your industry.
