Throughout a long career in IT my passion for new technologies and new ways of approaching business problems has provided me with the opportunity to work with, contribute to, and learn from a diverse range of individuals, teams and organisations globally.

In my roles within SAP HCM, I have successfully implemented payroll and time management solutions within Australia, Europe and North America for businesses with over 80,000 employees (in one country alone).

As a solution architect with a focus on design of global multi-tenant BPO solutions, I have designed, developed and evolved solutions in use for over 1 million employees globally across a client base from a broad range of industry verticals.

With a truly global experience, I have represented my host organisations directly in engagements with SAP and specialist user groups, not only in ensuring positive outcomes for our clients but in helping SAP shape their roadmap.

Although I remain a strong supporter of the future of SAP and its solution ecosystem, my technology adventures and experiences also lead me to explore alternative directions.

Having fostered interests in mobile web technologies both individually and through my work at ADP, I developed a particular interest in solutions that scale without effort or friction and without need for complex server landscapes.

Exposure to the Amazon Web Services platform during my experiments with SAP HANA allowed me to radically rethink the way that solutions are designed, constructed and made available to businesses and I became an enthusiastic advocate for serverless microarchitectures.

With the goal of bringing the benefits of serverless approaches to businesses of all sizes, I founded nanoputian.io to build and deliver robust serverless applications, software integration solutions and to provide application modernisation services.
