A leader and creative strategist with experience in large corporations as well as bootstrapped start-ups, I am passionate about discovery of market opportunities, partnerships and rising to entrepreneurial challenges.
Having cut my professional teeth on small but successful start-ups in sectors from retail to leisure, I co-founded Telegram Co/Milligram in 2007 as an e-commerce start up. We are now the leading provider of design stationery and lifestyle brands in Australia and New Zealand. The omni-channel business incorporates an established distribution network throughout Australia & New Zealand (Telegram Co), a multi-door retail business (Milligram), several E-Commerce sites, including Milligram.com and our in-house designed and developed brands - Studio Milligram, Any Day Now and Addition Studio.
Ownership of all business functions including buying, planning, finance, people and culture, retail operations, e-commerce, wholesale distribution, marketing, merchandise management, supply chain and purchasing, contracts and property management. Bringing to bear my background in marketing and PR, I have navigated the complex ecosystem of offshore vendors, national retailers and end-user demand.
In 2015, Telegram Co was acquired by the Dymocks Group and I stayed on as a Director/CEO. As well as reporting to the Board, I have built high performing leadership teams, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, trust and respect with a focus on achieving shared strategic goals. I have gained the trust and respect of management, customers and team members alike.
