Simon Bagnasco began his career writing copy for a tugboat company in New Orleans. This is factually true and verifiable by at least one person.
He is currently the Executive Creative Director at Saatchi & Saatchi Australia. This year the One Club global creative rankings listed him as the No.1 ECD in the APAC region. He is both flattered and touched.
In his career, Simon has worked at a variety of agencies including GPY&R, Clemenger BBDO and DDB. His thinking has been regarded locally and globally across a diverse range of categories. Most notably at Cannes, One Show, D&AD and Spikes.
Simon is known as an industry leader and mentor. He has sat on the judging panel for multiple awards shows and lectured at Monash and RMIT University. He has also been a proud member of the Royal Flying Doctors marketing committee.
