Yesterday, BioWin hosted Quebec Health Minister Christian Dubé and his delegation, along with a representative from Investissement Québec. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to discuss #AI in healthcare, best practices in health innovation, and ways to strengthen ties between Quebec and Wallonia’s research institutions. 👏 New significant milestone achieved by Bioxodes in their mission to treat secondary injuries following hemorrhagic stroke (ICH). Their candidate product, BIOX-101, has successfully passed an important phase in its clinical trial. The independent Data Monitoring Committee (DMC) confirmed positive safety results, allowing the company to proceed with the next stage of patient recruitment. Marc Dechamps, CEO at Bioxodes, emphasized the importance of this progress, stating, "The results on the first 16 patients will be a crucial inflection point, as they are what pharmaceutical companies and major private investors want to see before moving forward and financing us."
