Job Description: Head of Business Development & Sales
Overview: We're seeking an experienced Head of Business Development & Sales to lead all sales and business development operations, define our strategy, and drive our vision forward. As part of our small yet ambitious team, you'll build and direct our sales efforts towards achieving significant success.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive business development and sales strategies aligned with company objectives
Establish and manage the business development and sales department, shaping its structure and overseeing day-to-day operations
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building a robust pipeline of leads
Design and implement effective sales processes and best practices to improve conversion rates and customer acquisition
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities, guiding strategic decision-making
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure cohesive customer experiences and meet market demands
Set and manage sales targets, monitor performance, and optimize strategies for effectiveness
Measure, analyze, and report on the performance of business development and sales initiatives, KPIs, and ROI
Implement strategies to achieve revenue growth and customer retention goals
Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements, integrating new sales technologies and techniques as appropriate
Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing business development and sales team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Additional Responsibilities:
Lead go-to-market strategies for new services, driving growth and demand generation efforts
Develop and oversee the company's sales strategy to enhance market penetration and customer engagement
Cultivate strategic partnerships to expand our network and market reach
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head of Business Development, Sales Director, or similar role in a B2B setting
Deep understanding of sales principles, with a blend of strategic and analytical abilities
Strong leadership skills to guide teams and drive initiatives forward
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree preferred
