A big thank you to our incredible summer students! This summer, Activa was fortunate to have seven talented individuals join our team, bringing their enthusiasm and skills to various departments. As part of their experience, each student received a passport that challenged them to complete a variety of tasks, including: 🛠️ Immersing in Role-Specific Tasks and Company Events: From the Activa Bus Tour to Joint Health and Safety Committee Meetings, our students actively engaged in essential company activities. 🌱 Contributing to the Green Team: Our students participated in important conversations about sustainability and Activa's environmental impact. 🎯 Setting and Achieving Goals: With the guidance of their mentors, our students set personal goals and worked hard to achieve them throughout the summer. We’re so proud of our summer students and can’t wait to see where their bright futures take them next.

Last week was our yearly company picnic, ACTIVAPALOOZA! A day filled with barbecue, slingshots, obstacle courses, door prizes, popcorn and sports of all kinds! "The Community That Groh Built" isn't just a documentary about a class project—it's a glimpse into the brilliance of the next generation! In collaboration with Activa, Groh Public School's Grade 7 students embarked on re-designing the “Harvest Park” community in Kitchener. Split into small groups, they took on roles as city planners and developers to create a community plan considering demographics, affordability, sustainability, and placemaking.
