Since 1985, Agropur has proudly partnered with Société de coopération pour le développement international (SOCODEVI) to enhance global development through cooperative experience. For nearly 40 years, we’ve supported 130 missions across 17 countries, from Paraguay to Vietnam and Ukraine.  Most recently, Agropur renewed its support for SOCODEVI’s activities in Ukraine for three years. With Agropur’s support, a Ukrainian cooperative will continue the advancement of a dairy processing plant project, furthering our 13-year journey to uplift Ukrainian farming families. 🌱 Earlier this summer, Céline Delhaes, an Agropur Board member and the SOCODEVI President, had an impactful speech at the SOCODEVI conference.   🌎 Together, we’re making a global difference, one cooperative at a time. 🤝 

Depuis 1985, Agropur est fière de s'associer à Société de coopération pour le développement international (SOCODEVI) pour favoriser le développement coopératif à l’international. Depuis près de 40 ans, nous avons soutenu 130 missions dans 17 pays, du Paraguay au Vietnam, en passant par l'Ukraine.       Plus récemment, Agropur a renouvelé son appui aux activités de SOCODEVI en Ukraine pour une période de trois ans. Grâce à l'appui d'Agropur, une coopérative ukrainienne poursuivra l'avancement d'un projet d'usine de transformation laitière. Cela fait plus de 13 ans qu’Agropur s’implique pour améliorer les conditions de vie des familles agricoles ukrainiennes. 🌱      Plus tôt cet été, Céline Delhaes, membre du conseil d'administration d'Agropur et présidente de SOCODEVI, a prononcé un discours percutant lors de la conférence de SOCODEVI.     🌎 Ensemble, nous faisons une différence à l’international, une coopérative à la fois. 🤝  

Today we are celebrating Agropur’s 86th anniversary!    Through these years, Agropur has evolved into one of the top dairy producers in the world. We humbly began with just 87 local farmers who united to create the Société coopérative agricole du canton de Granby—the cooperative that would eventually become Agropur.    Our promise, "Better Dairy. Better World.", is embodied every day through our pride in feeding North American families and creating value in the communities in which we operate.    #DairyCooperative #Agropur

It's the eve of Agropur's anniversary and there's excitement in the air! We are delighted to present the video of our Grand Champion of the Club of Excellence Animal Welfare Award: Ferme Panama. 🏆 Ferme Panama has distinguished itself thanks to a management system that allows lactating cows to spend as much time as possible on pasture, thus setting them up for success during the winter months spent in the tie-stall barn. According to Sophie Bédard, animal welfare is a daily reality. It's evident in the energy and time they invest, far beyond what can be quantified. Cows are not only comfortable, but they are also physically and emotionally healthy. Today is the perfect time to highlight the dedication of Ferme Panama and all our members, who strengthen the cooperative model of which we are so proud. Thanks to you, we can meet our promise of Better Dairy. Better World. Thank you! L'excitation est à son comble à la veille de l’anniversaire d’Agropur! Nous sommes ravis de vous présenter la vidéo de notre Grand Champion du Club de l’Excellence, prix Bien-être animal : la Ferme Panama. 🏆   Ferme Panama s’est distinguée grâce à son système de gestion qui permet aux vaches en lactation de passer le plus de temps possible au pâturage. Cette pratique contribue à favoriser leur bien-être durant la période d'hivernation passée en stabulation entravée.   Selon Sophie Bédard, le bien-être animal est une réalité quotidienne. C’est l’énergie et le temps investis qui se manifestent, bien au-delà de ce qui peut être quantifié. Les vaches ne bénéficient pas seulement de confort, elles sont également en bonne santé physique et émotionnelle.    Aujourd'hui est le moment idéal pour souligner le dévouement de Ferme Panama et de tous nos membres qui renforcent notre modèle coopératif dont nous sommes si fiers.
