    𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗗 with Emerald Lane Recruitment! 🎉 Want to know how a 'perfect' Head Grower search goes? Our 🇯🇪 Jersey Island Cultivation client just found their new Head Grower to lead the future growth of their Team. 🌿 This one was a 'perfect search' from start to finish. How did this 'perfect' placement come together? 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁: We were referred to the client by an industry colleague whom we had previously worked with to support in multiple successful global placements. 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗲: The client had a realistic timeline to hire someone, and have them relocate, within 2-4 months from formal kick-off. 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺𝘀: Terms were discussed directly with the leadership team to clarify the ELR Process. All signed back and the search deposit sent within 24 hrs. 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺: They assigned a singular point of contact for the search. Communication was timely, and they were motivated to expand the search after previously attempting to hire directly. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲:  Came directly from our personal network, having met previously in-person at a cannabis conference in Europe. 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀: Our candidates went through multiple ‘pre-screen’ interviews with the ELR Team before being presented to the client. This included a technical interview with the ELR Cultivation Expert. 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: Was a true ‘pro’ in the global industry, & an all-around fantastic human looking to make a career move. Dedicated their entire career to cannabis cultivation, worked their way up in the industry at different types of facilities/operations, and led teams across multiple continents. Had hands-on GMP experience. 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸: Decisions for interviews were made same-day, and feedback on next steps was made immediately following interviews. 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀:  The hiring team moved candidates through multiple interviews (1-4) in a similar cadence. Different team members attended later-stage interviews. Meeting admin was organized by the ELR team to keep it easy for all. 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿: Client & Candidate directly communicated through the process, discussing realistic timelines/start dates, and supporting on visa & relocation. Everyone was true to their word on expectations set out from the start, and all in agreement. 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱: Candidate reviewed the formal job offer, and signed back when all was clarified. That’s how a ‘perfect search’ in the world of cannabis recruitment goes. Big things to come for our client & this perfect match.     HIRED with Emerald Lane Recruitment! 🎉 Our South Africa Cultivation client just found a new Head Grower to lead the future grow(th) of their #dreamteam. Having lived in Cape Town, with family from SA, working with a cannabis industry client in South Africa on this role felt like a ‘pinch me’ moment. 🇿🇦 This was one of those ‘all-the-stars magically aligned’ searches ✨ The match for all sides happened at just the right place/time. How did all-the-stars-align for this placement to come together? Connection to Client: We were referred to the group by 2 different industry colleagues, whom we knew from years of connection, and familiarity and who attested to our ability for success. Timeline to Hire: There was an urgent need to fill the role by a specific date, and the Client was transparent, yet firm, about the tight--timeline expectations. Leadership Team: All showed up as a united front to get the search started. Terms were easily negotiated, signed back and the search deposit sent quickly. Candidate Sourcing: Came as a referral through one of our ‘ ELR Regional Champions’ who is deeply embedded into the local cannabis community. They had reached out only weeks before to discuss collaboration, and support with establishing the presence of Emerald Lane Recruitment- South Africa, and then *poof* this role appeared and an industry referral came through. Technical Interviews: All of our Cultivation candidates went through multiple ‘pre-screen’ interviews with the ELR Team before being presented to the client. This included a technical interview with the ELR Cultivation Expert to understand technical abilities for large-scale cannabis cultivation. Selected Candidate: Was a true all-star from day one! Adaptable, flexible, made time for interviews, friendly, concise, professional, spoke clearly on achievements and shared a personal ‘why cannabis?’ story that showed they were committed to the industry for life. Hiring Team Feedback: Lines of communication/decision-making with hiring team was clear. Decisions and feedback were made promptly. Candidate Interviews: The hiring team moved the candidate through multiple interviews in a weekly cadence. The candidate was a star, and able to accommodate virtual and onsite interviews with short notice, understanding it was a tight timeline the team was working within. Offer: Client & Candidate directly communicated through the process, with both sides staying true to expectations set out from the beginning. The candidate used the ELR Team as a ‘sounding board’ to understand industry norms/discuss his decisions. Signed: Candidate reviewed, discussed with their family/lawyer, and signed back within days. Start Date: The candidate's start date is within the targeted timelines! That’s recruitment magic at it’s finest here on the Emerald Lane.     HIRED with Emerald Lane Recruitment! 🎉 Our European Cultivation client just added a new member to their #dreamteam. This may be a new Personal best... 2.5 weeks from 1st hiring manager conversation to a signed offer with a new employee!! When our clients need URGENT hires for key roles, we move QUICK along the Emerald Lane. How did this search come together so perfectly, in record time?? - Terms: We already had signed terms with the client from another search where we demonstrated that we find the world's best cannabis talent. - Hiring Manager: Provided us with a job description and got on a 'kick-off' call within 24 hours of introduction. - Candidate: Had met our founder Stephanie Pow irl 3 months prior at a major Cannabis industry event in Europe (note: They paid their own money/time/energy to attend the global cannabis conference having just completed schooling and knowing that being with the industry was their ticket to networking into a new job). They applied directly to the job posting when it was posted on #Linkedin with a CV that was properly formatted & detailed. -Candidate Submissions: The first candidate profile was submitted to client within 48 hours of kick-off, chosen candidate sent within 1 week. - Feedback: The client/hiring team reviewed the candidate profiles within 24 hours of submission, and quickly moved the candidate into an onsite interview. - Interview: The candidate was able to accommodate an onsite interview with a few days notice, and showed up ontime, and onsite, to meet the team. -Offer: Client made an offer 4 days after the interview, at the salary discussed. - Signed: Candidate reviewed, discussed with our recruitment team, and signed back the next days. - Start Date: Candidate's start date is within 2 weeks of signing. The entire process from beginning to 1st day on the new job is 4 weeks!!!!!!! That's how DREAM searches, and perfect matches, come together when you work with us.
